Toronto-based ThreeD Capital Inc. ("ThreeD") is a venture capital company which engages in opportunistic investments in companies in the junior resources and disruptive technology sectors, and is currently infinitii ai's largest shareholder. On March 20, 2023 ThreeD's Founder and Chairman Sheldon Inwentash was appointed as Strategic Advisor to infinitii ai's CEO, Jean Charles Phaneuf.

Mr. Inwentash has more than 30 years of in-depth entrepreneurial and investing experience he brings to infinitii ai's corporate mission. He co-founded Visible Genetics, the first commercial pharmacogenomics company, in 1994 and exited in 2001 to Bayer. Through two decades leading Pinetree Capital, Mr. Inwentash created significant shareholder value through early investments in Queenston Mining (acquired by Osisko Mining Corp. for $550-million), Aurelian Resources (acquired by Kinross for $1.2-billion) and Gold Eagle Mines (acquired by Goldcorp for $1.5-billion) to name a few.

ThreeD invited Mr. Phaneuf to give an in-depth video update on infinitii ai's progress including an ambitious product development program and corporate rebranding to position the company as an AI/machine learning leader for time-series-based predictive analytics in Smart City, Smart Industry and new industry vertical applications.

This corporate transformation has attracted new business from global engineering services firms such as AECOM, strategic sales to Smart City Water infrastructure customers including Los Angeles County, Region of Peel and City of Hamilton, while customers at York Region have earned global innovation awards for their use of infinitii ai's powerful machine learning software products.

The video interview, which spans 22 minutes including commentary by Jakson Inwentash, ThreeD's VP Investments, portrays a vibrant future for infinitii ai, including insights into the company's professional services initiative for organizations looking to alleviate the AI talent shortage by taking advantage of a proven data science team. These professional services contracts also serve to bolster infinitii ai's recurring revenue stream and intellectual property while introducing the company to new customers in international markets.
